劇情簡介 :
本片是漢尼拔三部曲前傳，知名作家湯瑪士哈里斯在寫出《沉默的羔羊》的七年前，早就以駭人的筆觸描繪出令人不寒而慄的邪惡力量。他在【紅龍】一書中，向讀者介紹了三個不同的人物，其中包括全球影迷早已熟悉的天才精神科醫師殺人魔漢尼拔萊克特、心靈受創的聯邦探員威爾葛蘭姆，以及一個被稱為牙仙的連環殺手。
威爾葛蘭姆也有忠實的追隨者，但是他卻完全不希望得到這種注意，身為一名頂尖ＦＢＩ探員，他在偵破數起高知名度的謀殺案，並逮捕數名連環殺手，包括最有名的漢尼拔之後，被迫成為八卦報刊雜誌的英雄人物。他對於連環殺手心理透徹的了解令很多人感到害怕，連他自己都覺得非常不安，尤其是在他有一次差點被漢尼拔殺死之後。
所以等到他的傷口痊癒，他就立刻舉家搬到佛州的馬拉松小鎮，並且離開聯邦調查局。但是漢尼拔有一個新的跟隨者，這個瘋狂殺手專門在月圓之夜，趁一家人熟睡時下手。
由於這名瘋狂殺手一定會再下手，而葛蘭姆的頂頭上司也找不到一個擁有能夠洞悉連環殺手心理的頂尖探員，於是葛蘭姆被迫再度出馬，他在研究過亞特蘭大及伯明罕兩處的犯罪現場後，很快發現他如果要逮到這名被稱為牙仙的變態殺手，他就必須先了解一個頭腦一樣聰明、心靈同樣扭曲的變態殺手，於是他必須面對他以前的死敵漢尼拔萊克特。
片名紅龍便是取自William Blake的畫作『The Great Red Dragon and the Woman Clothed in Sun』偉大的紅龍與陽光為服的女人
電影中，出自畫家威廉布雷克（William Blake）之手的畫作：偉大的紅龍與陽光為服的女人（The Great Red Dragon and the Woman Clothed in Sun）不時出現在畫冊、剪貼簿，甚至是兇手法蘭西斯的背上，成為這名殺人犯的教條。
漢尼拔引用了William Blake的詩歌：

劇情簡介 :
凱文科斯納和蘇珊沙蘭登合演的《百萬金臂》對於美國職棒從小聯盟到大聯盟的詭譎文化，有著相當逼真而且深動的刻畫。
凱文科斯納飾演一個老捕手，被球隊請來「引導」天賦過人卻不會控球的年輕投手提姆羅賓斯；蘇珊沙蘭登則是每個球季都會挑選一名球員來「臨幸」的性感女教師。兩人同時在「幫忙」提姆羅賓斯，彼此之間存在的火苗卻一觸即發。
本片翔實細膩的劇本在美國廣受好評，性感逗人的氛圍也有好萊塢少見的成熟。當凱文科斯納任務完成，將提姆羅賓斯送上大聯盟，儘管自己保有聯盟的打擊紀錄，但球隊還是一腳將他踢開，因為對球隊而言，他太老了，沒有「投資」的必要，充分凸顯美國棒球運動十足資本主義的一面。
